Today is my birthday, also the day I was abandoned but I still miss my parents very much

Gody was a shadow in the bustling city. Abandoned as a pup, he had grown up on the streets, his world a harsh, unforgiving landscape. Today, a bitter irony painted the world in shades of gray. It was his birthday, a milestone marked by emptiness.

He remembered, or thought he did, the warmth of his mother’s fur, the comforting rhythm of her heartbeat. Those were distant memories, now replaced by the harsh realities of street life. The world, once filled with the scent of family, was now a cacophony of unfamiliar smells.

Hunger gnawed at him constantly. He scavenged for scraps, his eyes scanning the ground with desperate hope. The city, a place of abundance for some, was a desert for him. He was a ghost in the bustling metropolis, a creature existing on the fringes of human life.

As the day wore on, a sense of despair washed over him. He sought solace in a quiet corner, a place where he could be alone with his thoughts. The city lights were a distant, cold beauty, offering no warmth or comfort. He curled into a ball, his body trembling from cold and loneliness. In the darkness, he dreamt of his mother, of her gentle licks, of the safety of her embrace. But when he woke, reality was a harsh slap in the face.

Another day had passed, another birthday marked by solitude. Gody was a survivor, a creature defined by resilience. Yet, in the depths of his weary heart, a flicker of hope remained. Perhaps, just perhaps, one day he would find his way back to his family, or at least find a new one to call his own.
