My child just died today, can someone help me stop crying?

Hanza sat on the curb, her small body trembling with sobs. Her gaze was fixed on the empty spot where Pi, her beloved dog, had lain just moments ago. The once vibrant, playful pup was now gone, leaving an aching void in her heart.

Pi had been Hanza’s constant companion, her confidant, her protector. They had shared countless adventures together, from exploring the nearby woods to chasing butterflies in the park. Now, the thought of a world without Pi was unbearable.

Hanza recalled the last time she had seen Pi alive. He had been lying in the sun, his head resting on her lap. She had scratched behind his ears, whispering words of love. Never had she imagined that would be their final moment together.

Tears streamed down Hanza’s face as she remembered Pi’s playful antics, his wagging tail, his warm, comforting presence. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small, worn-out toy that Pi had loved. She held it tightly, feeling a surge of grief and longing.

As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the street, Hanza stood up and walked slowly towards home. She knew that Pi would never be truly gone from her heart, but the pain of his loss would linger for a long time to come.
