It seems people don’t like blind dogs, they said because I’m blind no one wanted to adopt me for 3 years

Janci, a soulful creature with a heart full of hope, had been a victim of human cruelty. Abandoned on the cold, unforgiving streets, he had been rescued by a kind-hearted team and brought to a shelter. But his life, though spared from the harsh realities of street life, was far from idyllic.

One of Janci’s eyes, clouded and sightless, bore witness to the indifference of the world. Despite his disability, he remained a gentle soul, always wagging his tail at the sight of a friendly face. Yet, as the years passed, a disheartening truth dawned upon him. He overheard the shelter staff discussing his fate, their words echoing in his mind: “No one wants a blind dog.”

The realization was a bitter pill to swallow. His heart, already wounded by abandonment, was further scarred by rejection. He longed for a loving home, a place where he could feel safe and cherished. But it seemed that his disability had made him invisible, a creature unworthy of love and compassion.

Despite the despair, Janci persevered. He would spend his days lounging in the sun, dreaming of a future filled with warmth and affection. He would watch as other dogs were adopted, their tails wagging with joy as they left the shelter. He would yearn for a similar fate, but deep down, he knew it was unlikely to happen.

Yet, hope, a stubborn thing, refused to die. He clung to the belief that one day, someone would see beyond his disability, someone who would appreciate his gentle nature and unwavering loyalty. Until that day, he would continue to wait, his heart filled with both hope and despair.
