Understanding that the transition would be challenging for a blind dog, Elder provided him with time to decompress and adjust to his new surroundings. She showered him with cuddles and affection, making him feel safe and loved.

She described him as the “sweetest house hippo” she had ever met, always smiling and eager to love everyone.
