It is heartbreaking to be a creature who cares for others’ lives, but no one cares for yours! That was the case with a shelter dog called Stanford, who was a hero for saving another dog’s life by donating blood.
Unfortunately, the 2.5-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who was at the Smith County Animal Control & Shelter, was about to be euthanized as he did not get any adoption inquiry since Dec 2022. Thankfully, the dog was rescued by Let Love Live, a Northeast Texas based nonprofit animal rescue, and he is spending his time their along with other animals till he finds a forever home.
Let Love Live’s vice president, Evan Panhasi, said that Stanford was one of 4 dogs they were looking for to take them in as they had space for them. Let Love Live also took Jasmine, Wallen, and Nellie, 3 other dogs, from the same shelter and took them with Stanford. Thanks Let Love Live, that saved Stanford before it was too late.
