A German Shepherd dog named Rocco, was dumped all alone in an animal rescue center in Texas. He was scared and shaking after his family dumped him. And the reason?
The reason, if it might be called a reason is that his family was expecting a baby, so they did not need his love anymore, and they decided to abandon him.
The animal rescue center that he was at, posted a photo of him on Facebook hoping someone will adopt him.
After another video of him was posted online, his luck knocked at the door. An animal lover Preethi Pillaipakkam offered the right help.
She fell in love with the first sight at Rocco, and was very surprised how could anyone abandon him.
Rocco was underweight, at 60 pounds, far below the normal weight of 85 to 90 pounds. When he got home to the new house, of course he was scared and stressed out from the fear of being abandoned again.
Preethi had another dog of the same breed, so this helped Rocco bringing out of the sell, but still the process was a long and difficult one.
By time passed away, he started to like the house, the family and loves his new owner very much.
Preethi was the one who did everything she could to help Rocco adapt into life again. What she did, was an instagram page so people could see his progress. This was the way which led Rocco to a new forever family.
