A Heartbreaking Discovery
Kisses, a beautiful Pittie, was abandoned by her heartless owner at a fast-food restaurant. Scared and alone, she sought refuge in a trash room, hoping for help.
A Rescue Mission
A Good Samaritan noticed Kisses and contacted Hope For Paws, a Los Angeles-based animal rescue. JoAnn Wiltz and Alex Babcock responded to the call and rescued the frightened dog.
Kisses was timid and wary of humans, likely due to her past trauma. The rescuers approached her with care, offering food and gentle words. Kisses, initially hesitant, began to trust them.
A New Beginning
Kisses was transferred to It’s The Pits Dog Rescue in San Diego. The rescue team immediately began searching for a foster home.
Lori, a foster, was initially taking a break but was immediately drawn to Kisses’ story. She decided to foster the adorable Pittie.
From the moment they met, Lori and her family fell in love with Kisses. They welcomed her into their home with open arms.
Kisses blossomed in her foster home. She showered her family with love and affection, forming strong bonds with them. Her trust and confidence grew with each passing day.
A Forever Home
Kisses’ foster family couldn’t bear to part with her. They realized she was the one and adopted her, giving her the forever home she so desperately deserved.
