Pira, a puppy with eyes as bright as the morning sun and fur as soft as a cloud, was celebrating her special day. Her mother, a gentle soul, couldn’t help but coo over her. “Oh, Pira, you’re the most beautiful puppy in the world!” she’d often say, her voice filled with love.
Pira, however, didn’t feel quite as special as her mother thought. As the day wore on, she watched as other dogs received birthday wishes, toys, and treats. Their owners showered them with affection, their voices filled with joy. But Pira sat alone, her tail drooping. No one seemed to notice her special day.
A pang of sadness filled her heart. Was it because she wasn’t as big or playful as the other dogs? Or perhaps it was something else entirely. She yearned for a simple “Happy Birthday,” a kind word, or a gentle pat on the head.
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the ground, Pira couldn’t shake the feeling of loneliness. She snuggled closer to her mother, seeking comfort in her warmth. Her mother, sensing her sadness, held her tight, whispering words of love and reassurance.
Though the day hadn’t gone as Pira had hoped, she knew that her mother’s love was the greatest gift of all. And as she drifted off to sleep, she dreamed of a day when she would be loved by many, just as much as she was loved by her mother.
