This morning, the German Shepherd was observed loitering along the Fairhaven Lake shoreline (March 25). The canine was rescued by the Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service, the Lancashire Police Department, and members of the public. The dog has been surrendered to the local RSPCA and is now secure.
The dog is being cared for by the Veterinary Health Centre, and the proprietor will be required to present identification. In an effort to locate the dogโs owner, police said they will also explore the lakeโs vicinity. They have asked you for information.
According to a social media report, a German Shepherd canine became stranded in the water at Fairhaven Lake this morning after spending the night there. The Fylde Police are aware of this incident.
